Membrane Nitrogen Generator Work Principle
Membrane separation nitrogen generator takes the property of permeability and diffusivity of the air to separate the N2 from the air when the air goes through the membrane. Under the different pressure in the two sides of membrane, each element of air has different permeating rate, oxygen, CO2 and water steam have fast permeating rate, so these air will be drained out through the low pressure point, but the N2 is slow permeating, finally it will be collected inside of high pressure point and will be drained out , and finally achieve the separation of O2 and N2.
Nitrogen membrane separation generator progress
1. Air pre-cleaning: remove humidity, filter and heating.
2. Water:Avoid liquid water entering: particle:＜0.01μm; resid:＜0.01mg/Nm3
3. Dew point of product can reach -60℃, purity of Oxygen air can reach 45%(MAX)
The feature
As the compressed air to be the source, under the certain pressure, the oxygen and nitrogen has the different permeation rate in the membrane, so the oxygen and nitrogen can be separated easily. Compare to another nitrogen generator, it is easy to work, the dimension is small, no switch valve , less maintenance, quick producing nitrogen (≤3 minutes) and easy to extend capacity. The best purity is at ≤98％, the performance is the best including the cost , but when the purity is above 98%, compare to the PSA nitrogen generator, the price will be 15% nigher.
